This ancient residence typical of the Iblea region has benefited from a complete and very careful restoration that has both embellished and modernized it, while maintaining respect for tradition in the choice of materials. The locally quarried limestone, which has long been used to build the dry stone walls and the Baroque architectural elements, is omnipresent. The property is organized into three apartments, with two of them located on the same floor and connected internally. The tastefully chosen furnishings contribute greatly to the appeal of the whole. Located in the town of Scicli, a true jewel of Baroque architecture in the heart of the Val di Noto and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with other historic towns in the area, this residence enjoys an exceptional position. Perched on the top of a surrounding hill, it offers a breathtaking panorama of the town of Scicli, the sea, and the surrounding hilly landscape, adorned with carob, olive and almond trees. Surrounded by a carefully landscaped garden, the house also has a swimming pool (5x10m), various areas designed for relaxation and a charming vegetable garden growing medicinal aromatic plants. A pool house adjacent to the pool enriches the outdoor facilities with a living room, a kitchen, a shower room, and a furnished loggia for the comfort of guests. The villa is fully equipped with air conditioning to ensure a pleasant stay in all seasons. Pets are accepted on request, for an additional cleaning fee.
